The last few months in the year are always very busy, everyone is trying to wrap up the year, close out on outstanding KPI's, prepare budgets for the next year and also attend all the one million confrences that close out the year. This is no different for us landscape architects, every year either between September or October we always gear up for the biggest international confrence in our profession, the IFLA world congress and this year was no different. Also because this is our biggest conference, for the next few months you will be hearing about it in the newsletter.
First this month, we will highlight the big moments in the conference and continue to highlight all the different moments in the coming months, the moments of connections, collaborations and camaraderie among us Landscape Architects. Our President Ruth Wanjiku opens the President's desk with her reflections from the conference, and our Regional Director Graham A. Young as shares his reflcetions and highlight from the Congress and World Council.
For the first time in the history of IFLA we have our first president from Africa and we are so pleased to share this defining moment with Carey Duncan who is also a past IFLA Africa president, who during her tenure as IFLA Africa President welcomed so many important milestones and we are excited to support her tenure as the IFLA president.
While I cannot wait to share all the amazing moments during the World Congress with you, please also enjoy the linkedin post shared here
