

We invite scholars, practitioners, educators, and innovators in landscape architecture and related fields to submit abstracts for the IFLA World Congress 2026 in Hong Kong, China, 28–30 October 2026. This global gathering explores the theme “Liminal Landscapes: Shifting Boundaries of Watersheds and Coastlines,” and aims to spotlight ideas that rethink how design, planning, and stewardship respond to fluid ecological and cultural frontiers.
Submit your abstract on topics including (but not limited to):
• Climate resilience at landscape edges and waterfronts
• Biodiversity and watershed restoration
• Cultural landscapes shaped by water and identity
• Equitable and inclusive design for coastal communities
• Innovation, policy, and practice in blue urbanism
• Future pedagogies for landscape education and practice
