Become an ISCCL member

The ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes (ISCCL) is inviting applications for new members to help strengthen its global network of professionals dedicated to the conservation and management of cultural landscapes.

The Committee is particularly encouraging applications from underrepresented countries and regions, making this an excellent opportunity for landscape architects, heritage practitioners, researchers, planners, and allied professionals across Africa to contribute to international dialogue and practice. Applications for Associate Membership are also welcomed, providing an ideal pathway for emerging professionals looking to engage with the Committee's work and expand their international networks.

Through ISCCL, members have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, collaborate on international initiatives, and contribute to advancing the understanding and protection of cultural landscapes worldwide.

Although the application deadline for this year's intake is 31 July, interested professionals are encouraged to explore the ISCCL website, learn more about the Committee's activities, and consider applying in the next membership cycle. Greater African representation will help ensure that the continent's rich and diverse cultural landscapes are better reflected in global heritage conversations.
